Today was the second day of SRCs. I got to play my first game against nan hua. Ching yee was deciding who to put for the game, then coach was like: mix la, play for experience, lost nvr mind one then he said u can put people like michelle. I stand down there stunned. Did I hear correctly or not. So i went to check the player line up and its the first time i saw my name in the 9. I was right field, last batter. Many things went through my head... excitement, happiness, fear and anxiety
I panicked a lot before the game but whem i realised coach not coming for the game so i calm down a little bit. Haha. Make mistakes a least i wont kenna scolded like crap. xD

When we fielded, this leftie batted a very nice pop fly ball which was obviously catchable but i think i too kan chiong then i missed by a wee bit. I faster go pick up and throw to emily but aiya too late.
Later when it reached my turn to bat i was super scared... Its like one against the whole world. And somemore it started with 1 ball 1 strike which made it worse. Yue zhen told me to bunt a good ball so im like ok i will try my best. The 1st pitch i thought it looked like a strike so i tried to bunt it but half way i realised it was too high but too late liao, it was a strike cause i swung at it. 2nd pitch i thought should i hit or not and i decded not to coz i thoughy maybe a ball and if i swing i will most likely swing at nothing. ah... but turned out to be a very nice strike so i gt striked out.
And this is the story of my first game. :)

Just like batting, life only presents you with a certain amount of chances. U could swing at it and make a very nice hit bringing you a long way or u could miss it and choose not to take it. All you got is 3 precious chances, either u hit it or you are striked out. We should make use of every opportunity that came our way and not let it slip by
